PEAK offers both East and West Middle School students opportunities that encourage personal growth through service learning, interest-based enrichment activities and academic assistance every day after school.
Brought to you by Brownsburg Police & Brownsburg Fire Territory. With generous donations from local citizens this camp is offered free of charge for ages 6-12.
We pride ourselves in offering an active day camp experience for each child through a variety of physical and educational enrichment activities, and exciting field trips led by our trained Site Managers and staff.
Jr. Naturalist Camp: Spring into Nature (Spring Break Camp)
Week 1: March 25-29 (ages 6-8, grades 1-2)
Week 2: April 1-5 (ages 8-11, grades 3-5)
Join park naturalist as we discover the signs of spring at Arbuckle Acres Park! Campers will see nature coming alive first hand while exploring the plants and animals waking up from their winter slumber. Campers will participate in fun nature games and crafts and finish the week getting wet and wild in a creek stomp! We will feature special guests from our community and campers will get to document all of their observations in a keepsake nature journal!
Jr. Naturalist Camp: Let's Get Wild (Summer Camp)
Week 1: June 3-7 (ages 6-8, grades 1-2)
Week 2: June 10-14 (ages 8-11, grades 3-5)
Birds, mammals, and reptiles, OH MY! Is your camper interested in learning about animals in our ecosystem? Join Riley Kuhns, Brownsburg Parks Naturalist, in Arbuckle Acres Park this summer to get WILD in nature! Campers will learn about the different types of wildlife and their characteristics during engaging games and crafts, adventurous hikes, and creek stomping. They will experience an animal encounter from a special guest and share their findings in a nature journal. Come get WILD with us!
Jr. Naturalist Camp: To Nature and Beyond (Summer Camp)
Week 1: July 8-12 (ages 6-8, grades 1-2)
Week 2: July 15-19 (ages 8-11, grades 3-5)
To nature and beyond! Join Riley Kuhns, Brownsburg Parks Naturalist, on a wild adventure in Arbuckle Acres Park this summer. Not only will campers get close-up experience with Indiana plants and animals, but activities will expand beyond into garden science, weather, recycling, and water quality. Come soar with us as we explore all the different elements of nature through hands-on crafts, games, hikes, and a creek stomp. Campers will share their observations and memories in a keep-sake nature journal throughout the week. Are you ready? Let's go up, up, and away!
