During this week campers will walk in the shoes of Dorothy by discovering how she lived through an interactive field trip to the 1880s, how she got over the rainbow by learning how storms work with special guest NOAA Meteorologist and the magic that lies over the rainbow through STEM and art activities! Conner Prairie, Hummel Park 5 July 1-3 (CAMP CLOSED JULY 4-5) Puppet Palooza! Get ready for a summer of whimsy, laughter and puppetry magic at Puppet Palooza camp! This one-of-a-kind experience promises a blend of exciting adventures, creative activities and special guest, Roz Puppets, that will captivate young hearts and minds. Campers will create their own puppets and take part in a puppet show! Lucas Oil Stadium Tour 6 July 8-12 Our Colorful World Embark on a summer adventure that celebrates creativity, community and the kaleidoscope of colors that surround us. Welcome to "Our Colorful World" summer camp, where every day is a canvas waiting to be painted with fun, learning, and imagination. Jr. Naturalist Camp: Spring into Nature (Spring Break Camp) Week 1: March 25-29 (ages 6-8, grades 1-2) Week 2: April 1-5 (ages 8-11, grades 3-5) Join park naturalist as we discover the signs of spring at Arbuckle Acres Park! Campers will see nature coming alive first hand while exploring the plants and animals waking up from their winter slumber. Campers will participate in fun nature games and crafts and finish the week getting wet and wild in a creek stomp! We will feature special guests from our community and campers will get to document all of their observations in a keepsake nature journal! Is your camper interested in learning about animals in our ecosystem? Join Riley Kuhns, Brownsburg Parks Naturalist, in Arbuckle Acres Park this summer to get WILD in nature! Campers will learn about the different types of wildlife and their characteristics during engaging games and crafts, adventurous hikes, and creek stomping. They will experience an animal encounter from a special guest and share their findings in a nature journal. Come get WILD with us!
